Before you sleep tonight, be grateful for something. Be grateful for the way the sun shined from your bedroom window as you woke up this morning. Be grateful for the bacon, coffee, and eggs you had at breakfast and the sufficient energy they gave you to keep you strong for the challenges that came your way. Be grateful for your friends, co-workers or classmates that helped you learn new things and made you appreciate the warmth that comes from the feeling of working as a team. Be grateful for your mental health just as much as you are grateful for your physical health for both of them are essentially connected. Be grateful for your room, your bed and your family for there’s no other place like home. Be grateful for the love you know you deserve for that gives you enough reason, meaning, and purpose to be alive. Be grateful for everything that keeps you here.
Finding myself doesn’t always mean that I’ve lost myself. Self-discovery is when I remind myself of the simple things that bring purpose into my life and practicing gratitude at the end of the day. Like how the sun rises every morning and sets every evening, self-discovery for me is a daily thing.
As the day begins, I hope you remember these 3 things: Inner peace is when you realize that you don’t have to have to figure it out all at once, taking a step back is sometimes necessary for you to keep things in perspective and practicing gratitude is always key to making more room for good things to come into your life.

Thank you so much, everyone, who regularly tunes in to my blog. I really appreciate you all reading my stuff. I really do. I don’t know what’s next now for this blog. I’m thinking that perhaps it’s time to buy my own domain.
I wish I had the right words to commemorate this moment, this milestone but my thoughts are all over the place at the moment. I’m feeling anxious and sad about some stuffs in my life but what keeps me pushing forward is my growth as a writer.
Thank you so much as well for everyone who supported my two poetry collections. The first one I self-published when I was nineteen Confessions of a Wallflower and the latest one I self-published just this June I Am The Architect of My Own Destruction.
The real intention for this blog was really to just share my feelings because I was really depressed and sometimes I still am. I’m just blessed to have poetry as my outlet for coping with the harsh realities of human existence. I’m just blessed to have readers who also are feeling the same way when it comes to love, life, and mental illness.
So that’s all for now I guess. Just a simple thank you for each and every one of you for reading my stuff and being a part of the growth of my blog. This is where I first started sharing my poetry anyways, and I have great gratitude for my WordPress readers who’re still here with me after 2 years walking with me on my life’s journey. I love you all, and I just wish you all love, hope, and healing.
