  1. Of course, I could claim to be an expert on feelings of depression because of my age. For that reason, I become sad when I see youthful faces that forge a smile while knowing inside their crying. I hope one day you overcome the hardships that mental illness lays at one’s feet.

  2. Hello, Juanesen. A pleasure to meet you. I feel as though we were separated at birth. W share the same passions in regards to clinical depression and anxiety. I have quite a few more issues but work on this daily. Thank goodness
meds, meditation, coping skills, etc… Most importantly, i write to share my experience in order to help others.
I truly look so forward to following our journey.
    Take care, Beckie

  3. Thanks for liking my post πŸ™‚ is there anything in particular that you liked or resonated with you? I’m open to feedback.

Also, just a thought – you should put a donate button on your page to get some more income from blogging.

Congrats on the book by the way, you’re a talented poet. I used to feel the way you describe, it’s a tough place to be, but it gives rise to a very creative, if dark, muse. I hope for more light to enter your life, even if it just seeps through the cracks in the walls and creates spontaneous shadows on the ground, I hope it stirs your soul and frees your mind.

    Love, Erica

  4. I finally read your blog! I’m impressed that you’re managing to turn the worst possible experience (anxiety and depression) into something creative and inspiring. I know from personal experience that it’s not easy. Please keep writing, both for your own healing and to help others. Your poetry will let people know that they’re not alone in their struggles.

I’m sending supportive thoughts in your direction and wishing that you’ll eventually make your way to a happy, anxiety-free life.

  5. I admire how open you are with your mental illness through writing because I know it’s not that easy. You have great talent in you. I’m also planning to have my own ‘writings-blog’ but my anxiety prevents me to. I hope I can find my courage to write just like you. Power!

  6. I came across your blog recently when looking for a coping skills list to reference. I am glad I stopped by. ItΒ΄s a brave thing to do to share online. I am just getting my own blog up and going (I aim to blog about mental health and motherhood) and itΒ΄s always encouraging to come across other bloggers. Keep it up!

  8. Thank you for appreciating my post! I’ve visualized a little bit your blog and I must admit that it’s one of the most inspirational and sensitive blog I’ve ever seen. Also, I am extremely delighted to find out that there are still people who understand that everyone of us is just an unique poem, no matter if they’re suffering from a mental disorder or not. It’s incredible how you manage to write on these subjects such artistically.
    With admiration,
    Diana

  9. You are an amazing Poet Juansen! You are naturally gifted and I loved reading your poems. I wish I was that sensitive! πŸ™‚ You may be writing for yourself but you are inspiring many others around the world. Please remember that nothing is as bad as it looks. Learn to love yourself and others will love you, I promise!
Wake up every morning, look in the mirror and say to yourself. I love you Juansen! You are a handsome guy! … feel free to add). You MUST do this every day!!
I don’t know you but I can see from your photo that you have kind eyes. So you must be a nice guy, right?! πŸ™‚
There really IS light at the end of the tunnel, it just takes some longer to find their way out of the fog and see that light (learn to be patient and NEVER EVER GIVE UP). Everything will come to you if you are patient and have self belief.
You are a special guy with a very special talent. Don’t wait for validation from your friends, family or your girlfriends. Never believe what other people say about you if it is negative (including your parents!). It is their choice to express their opinion and they are allowed to say it but it is also your choice to choose NOT to believe what they say! Believe the most important person in your life, yourself.
Don’t dwell on your past mistakes. Allow yourself to make mistakes. We all do, that’s why we don’t have wings! We are not Angels we are humans.
There will be a lot of good things coming your way.. good things that will happen in your life but you must be open to receive them and be thankful when you do.
Keep the faith and above all keep writing. xx

    • Thank you so much, Taylor. πŸ’™ It means a lot. πŸ™‚ Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been feeling down these few days, sadly. As an independent writer, I’ll deeply appreciate an Amazon review as short as 1-3 simple sentences. πŸ’™ I hope you’re feeling lovely and I hope you’re okay. πŸ’™
