I came out of the house today, and it wasn’t as terrifying as I thought it would be. And I think I should get out more to feel less sad.

  1. I always hate going out and about, but if I make controlled decisions about where and when I go, I usually do feel better by getting out. My newest success has been going to the gym. Big step for me. Hang in there!

  2. Way to go!! That is a big step. You never know what you will find after you’ve stepped out your door. For me, it is the sunshine. I sooooo need the warmth of the sun’s rays to keep my head feeling light. All this drudgery indoors with the curtains closed weighs on me. But my wife needs the house that way to tackle her illnesses. So I sit and adjust. I know that we all need a little sunlight in our lives. The vitamin D is important for us. If nothing else, that is a good reason to open your door and stick your head out for a few minutes.

    I don’t know how affected you are or what affects you, but, if you could go to the shopping malls before they open they usually have a very small crowd of people walking the perimeter. You could go and do some window shopping at that time and not be inundated with large crowds. Just a thought.
