Loneliness (A Poem)

Loneliness

lonely man flying with a balloon

Loneliness,

Is like a young dove trapped inside a bulky cage.

Loneliness,

Is like a single letter trapped outside an empty page.

Loneliness,

Is like a quiet wind dancing around a hurricane.

Loneliness,

Is like a quiet old man dancing around and around his cane.

Loneliness,

Is like a fat cow without its precious milk.

Loneliness,

Is like a thin dress without its precious silk.

Loneliness,

Is like a colorful star that refuses to twinkle.

Loneliness,

Is like a colorful butterfly that refuses to mingle.
